In 2022, I unexpectedly ended up moving back home to North Carolina with my family. Back in a familiar place but in an uncomfortable situation, I wanted to build something with my family. My younger sister, Madison, and I came up with the concept of a young adult coloring book to help people creatively navigate the pandemic. Together, we created a coloring book filled with outlined and pre-colored pages that feature amazing black imagery, reimagined through Afrofuturism, titled AFROCARE 2178: In Black and White.
