In the throes of the pandemic, I needed to fuel my creativity. For years, I told myself to launch my art business. In April 2021, I finally made the courageous decision to take that leap of faith and launch DorianTroy Studios — a creative house that channels my freedom of expression, stories, and experiences into art to share with the world. This launch was accompanied by the release of my first limited edition print collection, AfroCare 2178, which explores the beauty of black haircare through an Afrofuturist lens. These premiere pieces inspired many future projects, including AfroCare 2178 in Black and White and my 2025 collection, Man on the Moon.
